The "Development" partThe "Development" part of the work in schools has 2 interconnected emphases. One is collaborative Action Research (AR), a school change model that invites teachers to study issues that challenge them in their classrooms, and devise strategies to meet those challenges. Many teachers are exploring approaches that help ELLs meet City and State standards. The other is identifying and documenting existing instructional programs and practices that support high ELL achievement - a body of best practices for ELL students.
